Speakers
Mr. Ludovic Ortuno, Director, Missouri International Trade & Investment Office – Canada
Mr. Ortuno has in-depth knowledge of the economic development process, specifically lead generation. After working for industrial firms in France, he worked at the export division of the Bourgeat-Matfer group (leaders in the production of catering equipment and utsensils). During his employment, he gained expertise in transaction costs related to exporting. Mr. Ortuno completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science at the University of Montreal (B.Sc.).

Ms. Gloria Garcia, Director, Missouri International Trade & Investment Office – Mexico
Ms. Garcia has had a very dynamic international career, participating in several business

projects that involve marketing, business and trade in Latin America, USA, Europe, and Asia. As Global BMT’s founder and Director she has managed more than 200 projects for 16 different countries and is the qualified National Consultant for the Canadian Province of Manitoba, Swiss and Irish governments in Mexico. Ms. García has studied the Executive Program at Harvard Business School, commenced her Ph.D. studies and completed a Master’s Degree in Economic Development and International Trade from the United Kingdom; the degree of European Specialist at ITAM and an honors B.A. in International Trade at ITESM.

Mr. Fabio Yukio Yamada, Director, Missouri International Trade & Investment Office Brazil
Mr. Yamada has 32 years of experience in business development with top international corporations such as Chemical Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Du Pont, 3M and Assa Abloy (Swedish group). From July 2015 to June 2016, Mr. Yamada and his team in Brazil generated more than USD4 Million in expected sales for MO companies in different businesses. Mr. Yamada received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Campinas (Brazil), and completed postgraduate studies in Finance (Brazil), Business (Japan) and an MBA in International Marketing at Carleton University (Canada).
