MIKExANGEL spreads his wings on his debut EP NOTHiN2SOMETHiN, viaMonopoly Enterprises and 300? Entertainment. The Virginia crooner and Trey Songz protege has racked up several features on the R&B vet’s projects, including “Everybody Say” and “Never Enough” off his To Whom It May Concern mixtape, as well as “Games We Play” from Songz’ Tremaine album. They also teamed for the joint project Anticipation III.
The singer’s smooth new offering includes the flossy opener “N2S” and the drunken hook-up anthem “One Time,” along with other sexy deep cuts that veer into familiar territory about all aspects of situationships.
“This project is so special to me because NOTHiN2SOMETHiN is really a mirror of my life right now,” the 25-year-old tells Billboard. “I started singing in the church as a kid, mass choirs all around Virginia. One year ago, I was working at Starbucks and Amazon and now I just got off tour with Trey Songz! Trey and my manager Mu have been in my corner throughout this process and the support system I have around me is incredible. I’m blessed to have a platform now through 300 Ent to deliver MIKEXANGEL to the world!”
