Southfield’s Altimetrik Corp., a global digital transformation technology company, announced the grand opening of its flagship innovation and collaboration hub, the Altimetrik Collider, in downtown Detroit. It will support prototyping and innovation services for startups.
Located at 1500 Woodward Ave. on the fourth floor of the Wright Kay building, the company will have software engineers onsite to help companies experiment and iterate their ideas before fully investing in and bringing ideas to market.
“We chose Detroit as our first Collider location given the immense talent potential in this market,” says Abhinav Vattikuti, manager of Altimetrik Collider. “My focus is on making this space as exciting and engaging as possible for the local software engineering community. That means everything from hackathons to demo days to expert-led talks on trending topics in the industry. The goal is to enable creative collisions around the tech and entrepreneur community here in Detroit.”
The 3,000-square-foot workspace will host events, meetups, speakers, panels, hackathons, workshops, and other activities for the local software engineering community to grow, network, innovate, and experiment. The space is aimed toward companies and individuals looking to take the next step in growth and development.
