Kirko Bangz is back with a certifiable hit, “Date Night (Same Time),” featuring Chris Brown.
Last August, the 300 artist released his tape Progression 17, and most recently dropped the record “Lend a Hand.” Now, we see him holding his own with Brown as the two trade verses over an uptempo beat and croon about a fun night involving a lot of women.
Bangz told Complex over email that while it was hard to get ahold of Brown at first, “He hit me back and wanted to do a record with me. I thought that was shit dope as fuck. Homie a real one.” Bangz plans on working with Brown in the future; like “Date Night,” Bangz wants to “drop a few more for the ladies.”
Bangz has another project on the way, where he’s working with Sound M.O.B. “This shit gon’ go crazy,” he said, adding, “You know [Sound M.O.B. and I] do shit so I’m excited to see where it’s gonna go!”
