Rancho Cielo invests in all young people facing challenges for success through diploma education, vocational training, counseling and life skills development in a safe and affirming environment.
Our Programs
Imagine the immense potential residing within every young person, in a setting that helps them make it real. This is the essence of Rancho Cielo. We invest in the education, training and counseling of youth facing challenges, and they, in turn, reward our belief with their success.
Academic Instruction/John Muir Charter Schools
Rancho Cielo offers vocational training and high school education onsite, allowing students to earn a high school diploma or the equivalent.
Ag Technology & Mechatronics
Students learn electro-mechanical fundamentals, applications and technologies in modern agricultural production.
Auto & Diesel Repair
Students develop automotive knowledge and training in the safety, servicing and maintenance of gas and diesel engine vehicles.
Construction & Sustainable Design Academy
Students learn basic construction skills, from operating power tools to reading construction plans.
Welding & Fabrication
Students attain mastery in a variety of welding methods, preparing them for entry-level occupations in the welding industry.
Drummond Culinary Academy
Students learn a comprehensive culinary arts curriculum and work hands-on with hospitality and culinary industry professionals.
Silver Star Youth Program
Students have access to cultural enrichment, physical and outdoor activities, individual and group counseling and vocational programs.
Youth Corps
Students earn as they learn in a crew-based job readiness program that prepares them for full-time employment.
Enrichment Programs
Students experience science education, outdoor recreation and enrichment activities.
