Artist Statement
My work is formalist. I am passionate about form, shape, and color. Mostly I work with clay. I use it in juxtaposition to other materials and also push ceramics to their limits.

I work in large scale installation as well as intimate size pieces. The sculptures are playful, colorful and witty. Although mostly abstract, narratives/concepts are an important aspect of the work. It is serious, but also fun.
